About Helping Hand Organisation

Helping Hand Organisation was established to support and empower children in vulnerable communities in Zimbabwe. The organisation was founded in response to the growing need for community-based initiatives that promote education, personal development, and well-being among children and women.

Working in collaboration with local partners and churches, Helping Hand Organisation began by offering educational support, food assistance, and mentorship programs aimed at helping vulnerable children access learning opportunities and build life skills. These early efforts enabled many vulnerable children to return to school, gain confidence, and embrace positive pathways for their future.

Since its formal establishment in 2024, Helping Hand Organisation has remained committed to its mission of nurturing potential and providing practical support for vulnerable people in Zimbabwe. Guided by the principle that every child deserves the chance to succeed, the organisation continues to invest in education, nutrition, and personal growth for the next generation of leaders.

Our Impact in 2023

Despite financial challenges, Helping Hand Organisation made significant strides in 2023:

Evangelism & Mentorship – Providing spiritual and emotional guidance to struggling teenagers.
Food Hampers Distribution – Supplying essential groceries to families in need, three times throughout the year.
School Fees Assistance – Covering tuition costs for ten underprivileged children in Hopley.
Blanket Distribution – Donating blankets to ensure warmth for struggling families.

Challenges We Face

While we celebrate our progress, resources remain a major constraint. Our biggest challenges include:

Lack of funding for sustainable projects that can empower the community economically.
Limited resources for rehabilitation efforts to help teenagers quit drugs and alcohol.
Shortage of educational materials to support learning initiatives.
Need for shelter and better living conditions in Hopley’s slum areas.
Food insecurity – Many children and families are still starving due to economic hardships.

We continue to trust in God’s provision and the generosity of well-wishers to help us bridge these gaps.

How You Can Help

Every child deserves a chance—but not every child gets one. Your time, your gift, your heart can be the turning point in a teenager’s life. Whether you choose to donate, volunteer or partner with us, you become part of their healing story—restoring hope, rebuilding dreams, and reminding them they are not forgotten.
